Definitely not. Baku was bad luck, but Hamilton screwed up so it didn't matter much.

But Hamilton should have been DQed for Silverstone and the car bowling by Bottas in Hungary was extremely unfair/bad luck. Without those incidents this would have been long decided in Max favor. So he clearly deserved some luck at the very end.

Both drivers were phenomenal. Max pushed Hamilton to his very own best. This was Senna vs Prost all over again.

Which is rather interesting considering Piquet Jr's sister is currently dating Max.

LOL! No melt down here bro. Hamilton drove the best this race and has most records. And despite Max winning, Hamilton will still be the most popular driver on Fchat!! Lol!

LH is a great driver and will try again in 2022. Hopefully he will refocus on F1.

In the interim Max Verstappen is 2021 WDC.

Compliments and Merry Christmas to all, but it was inevitable. :D

    Toto: We'll be back. :)

Inspite the fchat passion for MS, Hamilton has ALL freaking records mostly due with this era…

Big questions are: how good will Merc be in 22? Can they or will they be competitive like this year? Will max have a competitive car? Will Ferrari stage à come back making me
    Not cancel my 296 order?!

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Karma is a *****. How ironic that poor Lewis loses the championship that way. The Messiah finally gets one called out against him. I’m happy with the result but not with the new **** show That is F1.

The FIA needs to take a long hard look at how they are running this series and enforcing the “rules”. They need to stop playing politics/favorites and just let the drivers do their thing. Hopefully it’s fixable.

No he wasn’t the best driver this year.
Verstappen did a legendary exploit this year becoming WDC with an inferior car against the most impressive team of all time and one of the best driver in history.

Great job by Sainz again, but **** race by Leclerc. Did either manage to pass Norris in the points.

Incredible season, the best driver did prevail. Officiating all season has been terrible, however the line from Masi to Toto was fantastic. Cheers to Verstappen, Hamilton handled defeat with complete class. Sainz was simply amazing this season. Bring on 2022 without Masi and Crofty please.

    Forza Ferrari!

Heartbreak for Hamilton no doubt, it’s gotta feel like Massa in Brazil when Hamilton won his first.

For the record, I don’t think Glock slowed for him and I don’t think Latifi intentionally hit the wall.

everyone have a safe , happy and healthy Christmas!

Yep, given the rules and regulations that favored Mercedes.

Next year, it's a completely different formula regarding the aero side....so it's anyone's guess. At least there's not token system hampering development of the aero for 3 years.

Ferrari hasn’t won in 14yrs…have you been canceling for the past decade? lol

Anyways, Ferrari miraculously finished 3rd in the constructors, definitely a pleasant surprise and great work by Sainz to show up and deliver against Leclerc, such a significantly stronger pairing than Vettel/Leclerc.
