No doubt Merc will protest and take this fight all the way, but I sincerely hope that this result is not over turned in the courts. What’s done is done and whilst the FIA obviously took decisions that did not favour Lewis, they did it for the benefit of the fans. And after all, that’s what sport should be all about - the fans.

If I were Latifi, I would be hiding for a few weeks… But at least he’s going to get free Redbull for life.
