Lots of good stuff they did change it a bit here and there.. its good concepts and vision form the TM group! Loved it!
was puzzled , LAVA or GRANITO, I think that GRANITO is splendid also but really dark and the carbon parts more visible on the Lava plus easier to keep clean Well let s wait to see it in the "metal" .... tam
Went to TM today and went well. Big news is about the painted shields. Yes they can be done as Scudmsl mentioned but what they said to me is no large painted shields, only medium. I went with painted shields
Please note that the grey color on 06701 (275 GTB/C) has never been "Grigio Lava". 06701 was born Rosso Cina (April 1965) and in April 1969 it was repainted Grigio Scuro con banda argenta (dark grey with silver stripe) and in 1971 repainted red again. Later on grey again and then red once more. Marcel Massini
Re pic in post #584: It is a complete fantasy color and has zero to do with Grigio Scuro. Marcel Massini
Sorry now I see the last part of your answer ,,, »on grey again”.;. This fantasy color is splendid;;. tam
Thank you Marcel for the historic information. Its worth doing our homework and Marcel has made it easy in this case. As an aside, I do have to say this is a very attractive combination on the car, even if it is a fantasy, at least its a good one
Man , you are my hero, Grigio Lava is a fabulous color, I really wanted to see it on a Ferrari, and the fact that you've chosen it for a 8121C is the Cherry on the cake. Promise me to make great pics once delivered I completely share your opinion on Lava Vs. Granito. Ganito looks great but is a little bit too dark sometimes and almost looks black. Grigio Lava is just perfect Congrats
Was puzzled with or without ....but finally I prefer the rear with stripes ,,,,the front due to the carbon crossing part without .;..dilemma tam
I did my ‘remote’ Tailor Made session today ….. definitely helped having been for 3 previously at the factory - was fab day with a final result I’m delighted with and will share once arrives - I surprised myself with how brash/ bold I went - “off the scale “ as we say in the UK….I’m not sure if everyone/anyone will like it , but I do- and still smiling a few hours later …..
I’m not a subtle person but I surprised even myself with how ‘loud’ I’ve gone ….. they will see and hear me coming … lol
