Thanks, I thought it was something like that.
That version sounds like it may be more appropriate for the Sky crew and more precisely “Cornhole Crofty” and Damon Hill.

Also, I’ll need to remember to not say that next time I’m in Cedar Rapids ;)

A weird end to a weird season.
A whole lot of controversial micro-management by stewards all season.
But that trend has been increasing for some time. More off-track managing, less flat out racing.
Heck: DRS, Hybrid engines; development restrictions, ....
    This ain't yer father's F1.

And all the teams should protest that Saudi Arabia track. :p

Saints beating Leclerc with a car new to him, despite Lecerc having a head start and being integrated with the car. Is Leclerc over rated?

    Or is Sainz under rated?

He beat Norris at Mclaren last year. He beat Leclerc last year but different machines.

Absurdly exciting end to an incredible season. Wasn't sure my heart was gonna take that last lap.
Not a Max fan (either his public persona, or the sportmanship shown in numerous on-track moves) but no denying he's fast, and hungry as hell.
Lewis, a class act (other than some heat-of-the-moment radio transmissions), WILL come back next year with if anything even more focus and drive.
    Good for Honda.
Really hope the FIA improves their act. One of the biggest blunders that is emblamatic of their general lack of competance was not informing Lewis that Max was going to give the place back in SA, before Max was informed. That's just basic good-practice stuff.

All that said, bring on 2022!!!!
But not before a greatest hits of "posts that did not age well" from earlier in the final race :D

And of course this beauty lol

Ferrari does not have a chance with their drivers, they suck, its that simple . Im absolutely stoked with the race results. Until Ferrari can get some real talent, like Vettel , Max , Louis , they will not be in contention . ( Vettel got close, but as they say, no cigar ) . Rosberg, Max, and Vettlel have been the only drivers to be able to take it to Mercedes . Alonso , Vettel, should follow Kimis decision, or go race sports cars, Alonso has had major success in sports cars, I guess hes getting paid a lot of money to be a back marker, same as the other two .

    Thank you ,

What a season! Only thing that could’ve made it better was if one of the Ferrari drivers were in the mix. And even though we were not there w Red Bull & Mercedes I watched every race this season, a first in a very, very long time.

I hope and have been hoping for over a decade that Ferrari will be in contention. Will next year bring us red glory?! I will keep hoping!

Sainz+Leclerc are unequivocally a stronger pairing, far better than Vettel ever was, give them a proper car and we will see fireworks.

I mean in all fairness I don't consider him the top of the top. But he has really proven himself to be arguably the best "secondary" driver. He puts points on the board.

Sainz is a real gem for Ferrari. I also underestimated him because he is not flashy. I really hope Ferrari can compete at the top in 2022.

Masi needs to study the rule book and stop making decisions from the seat of his pants. While I respect Max’s driving and he certainly deserved to win this year, I just didn’t like the ending to an epic season. Rules exist for a reason and Max tends to abuse them especially in Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless congrats to Max for trying so hard and Ham for being a class act at the end.

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz suck?

Real talent like Vettel? The same Vettel who was beaten twice by Leclerc?

yeah I didn't quote all the "foot in mouth" posts by the same person, otherwise my post would have been 2 pages long just in quotes ;)

I didn't watch the race until this afternoon so it was funny reading this thread from page ~3 onward, knowing exactly how it was going to unfold lol

Saw this in one of the comments on YouTube but don’t think anyone mentioned it here:

    Shout out to Mick!

It’s because of Mick’s battle with Latifi that the latter crashed out and brought out the SC that ultimately helped protect his father’s co-ownership of the record—albeit without the benefit of 8 years of racing THE dominant car—of 7 WDCs.

Leclerc against Vettel in his hay day, would have got spanked , Leclerc is slow . same as Sainz. They will never bring Ferrari a title .By the way, Wolf is also a cry baby. Next year, people will continue to say, the car is the problem, they have been saying that for 10 years, whats another year, its not the drivers, its the car . good grief. They had the car and the driver with Vettel ,he screwed up , and thats that. Now they have the best car in years, ? And they still cant win . Done get me wrong, I would love to see Ferrari win again, they just dont have the talent it takes, they are getting spanked by Max and Louis, race after race, its mostly only by attrition that they get on the podium. This year there has been only two drivers racing for the title, Max and Louis. Maybe next year will be different .Mark Webber would have spanked Sainz and Leclerc .So far neither driver for Ferrari has come as close as Vettel did.

    Thank you
