    Hi
What would be the price depreciation on a matching numbers engine classic Ferrari but with factory supplied new , non matching gearbox and differential ?
Or is this divorced and remarried car to avoid outright.?
Are there such examples of important models?
    Thank you

It is not a specific car, it is just a general topic question which should be answered with a percentage of the total cost of an otherwise matching classic Ferrari in a driver status.

At this point in time, nearly every pre-5 digit serial number car is "known", so a generalized question like this would have no real answer.

The history of each individual car would be the only determining factor, not simply a mismatched trans or diff. Given that Ferrari will sign off on "new" components if they are through the Classiche program, that adds another aspect to be considered, is it "original"
    , OEM supplied, or certified?

Obviously original will command a higher price, but there are far fewer like for like comparisons to be made than if we were talking about a higher volume manufacturer.

The difference for a 3 digit SN car may be nonexistent, but a later 275 or 330, of which there are more to choose from, may have a significant penalty.

Most marvelous answer to a most general question. Thank you Tegethoff.
