    95970230 is a 360 WSM volume 2. The dongles were either USB or printer port things that unlocked some of the parts CD's. I think I still have some.... but the idea of a computer with a printer port or CD drive kinda makes my head hurt.

    They were (at best) s#$t when new.

    In my experience it does not make diagnostic software available on its own. Diagnostic software only functions when SD2 is in use linked with computer, communicating with car and computer has dongle and relevant shop manual CD running. The SD2 accesses the diagnostic function based on what system and problem is being run on SD2.
