Totally free. I am going to wrap mine on the GTS and Roma. Went w a classic by look too so no carbon on either of them.

 

I had to buy the carbon sill to get the look I wanted but decided to paint it black. I love the look where the door sill and the black exterior meet

wow that look where the black meets caught my eye when I saw it to. Very inviting to step inside with that effect. Is the red paint rosso corsa or something else?

 

The paint is Rosso TRS. I did find it hard to capture the debt indoors with my mobile phone but the debt was really nice seeing it live.

Just saw that Michael Leiters, Ferrari tech boss, is moving on. In a recent interview he mentioned that unassisted V12 is likely to survive only in the form of Icona or similar ultra low volume cars... so it seems likely the GTS will be the last ever N/A V12 convertible.... long live the GTS! I'm gonna take mine for an Xmas day drive to celebrate.

BTW I had a little chuckle at this: asked what his most important contributions at Ferrari were, Leiters said: "launch of Ferrari's Icona model series, the roll-out of Apple CarPlay and the Tailor Made personalisation programme". The first and third, fine, but celebrating the fact you managed to integrate CarPlay - which every entry level car has - PLUS charged customers around $3k+ for the privilege... that is what you want to be remembered for?!

My car will be a very similar spec to yours but with yellow calipers. Nothing else seemed to work however there is a very good chance I have them powder coated to match the Bordeaux interior. My car is not due for a few months so I have nothing to show you just yet.

 

Great, please post some pics when it arrives (incl. before and after the caliper repainting). BTW when discussing the re-paint with my garage, they noted that to do it properly the calipers need to come off the car and get baked in an oven, using the correct heat resistant paint. Apparently some cheaper shops will do the respray while still on the car.... bad. Probably not news to you, but just FYI

Looks great! I have more miles on mine already. If this is closer to MSRP, I would need it to have a pair.

I got on the list late for the GTS. At this point, I doubt I will get to spec one.

from public corporation perspective that’s awesome because they make an extra $4150 per vehicle fleecing us. I’m sure that option alone that is competitive with Hyundai’s entire per vehicle margin.

 

Just speculating but does Apple charge a fixed license fee per model regardless of the number of vehicles produced? If so, that would explain why Apple Play is so expensive in a Ferrari and so inexpensive in a Kia.

 

Maybe it has been approved recently?
I have this option on order with Ferrari. I was given a price for the Ferrari / GTS painted logo and one for the dream line on the buttress, worth every penny.

I have seen your Rosso Maranello 812 with some Rosso Corsa interior details. A true marvel IMO. Would You tell interior Rosso Corsa color fits well with Rosso Maranello ?

 

Thank you! Yes, I have no problem with it. When the color is not in the sun, it's a bit darker and doesn't clash with the red, and when it's in the sun, they look quite similar. Pic is in a garage.
