Hi all, does anyone know the Rhodesia / Zimbabwean history of 195 Inter 0089S please. I had a look on barchetta.cc but all it shows is the car is thought to have been in Zimbabwe (or Rhodesia at that stage) sometime between 1957 and an unknown date when it was in the UK.

    Thanks

I can't help Wayne but you have formulated a great site.

It's very interesting to observe RHD classics in the colonies unrestored but in period.

It's just a theory could Swaters maybe took 0089S with him at one of the Angola races where ENB participated and sold it there or maybe find a buyer there that brought it to Zimbabwe?
Is William D.M. Hay still alive he can maybe help you to find more about the car history ?

no thanks 0089S being a former belgian car I'm interested in her history ,the best chances to know more about this car is to find if he's still alive of course Mr Hay ,the current owner who maybe have some interesting documents or the Swaters archives who belong to a well knowed Ferrari historian and F-chatter .I had the occasion to meet Léon Sven nephew a couple of times but sadly he doesn't have anything about his uncle car's .
