I’m currently looking at a 355 on Car gurus. The current owner said it was purchased from a guy named Randy Gori, who he states was a ferrari club board member. The car is a yellow 355 spider. I figured someone on here might be familiar with the old owner or car.

I was going to buy that car, but something is not right with it. Was sold at auction in Feb of this year for $41,500 and went to Lambo of Houston. They supposedly serviced it, but bounced around 4 auctions after. I imagine it was poorly serviced, has a head or exhaust issue and needs more major work. Granted it is $68.9k but it will have needs. Also says it has an odometer roll back issue. Personally, it is a good buy back of $65, but knowing the history and sold at auction - Manheim Long Beach - for $41,500 and has never stayed with anyone for more than a few months, I just couldn’t not pay that in good conscience. In the new market, but rolled back and probably not running right, I say $50’s.

Seen that car for a few years on some sites but never got the vin# from any of them looks ok but I’m sure if the dealers keep pushing it to auction must be a hard sale
Might be worth picking up and making a track car with

In the current market there is no reason to sell a car like this at auction unless a dealer wants to dump it because of an issue either mechanically or structurally...

As I was looking at the link you gave I came across 2 1990 348 ts both in fly yellow and are not really a good example of what these cars should be and the nicer of the 2 has a salvage title but looks ok and the other looks like someone put it together for a fast sale, is heavily modified and advertised it’s not running “but the engine turn’s freely” you can see in the pics in interior is a mess, panels broken wiring hanging etc and the engine compartment is no better you can see the cat’s are moved and the car is straight piped
Away does anyone here either one of this cars
