1. I live in Wyoming, so there’s not much need for a convertible, even if I wanted it, which I don’t. 2. I much prefer the exterior design language of the Roma to the Portofino. The Roma is the best Ferrari style I’ve seen since I first started drooling over these cars as a teenager. (3x8s at that time) 3. I really think the new transmission used in the Roma and SF90 is fabulous. Thanks for the question! This was a very easy decision for me to choose the Roma over the Portofino. Andy
Enjoy your new car. When the wife gives you a shopping list do not forget to "forget" at least one item. You will then have to go back for it
How are production timelines for the Roma? I know some of the lower production cars from other dealers are definitely getting delayed but fortunately moving along.
From a data size of one, this car photographes better than it looks. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Does anyone have pictures or descriptions/opinions after seeing the different exhaust options on the Roma? Standard, Sport, Black Ceramic. From what I was told, the sound are all the same. I would normally pick Black Ceramic (on a red or blue car) but feel like after seeing the Sport exhaust, it has a nice brightness to it. Realize this is personal but opinions welcome.
Right- cosmetic tips only. But they impact the look. Attached are photos of Romas with sport and std, and a (daily driven) Lusso with black ceramic. The option tips have the teeth inside. All are similar in size. The std tips are chrome in color and tend to turn slightly bronze in color, likely from heat. The sport is matt finish and darker in color. The black is very matt. They all look great, so it’s difficult to go wrong. But the teeth change the look a bit. Happy configuring! men i like back lights on Roma it is only when they are out next to classic round one that i see how much the round one are nicer.
Thank you both for the insight and pictures of the exhaust. To be honest, don't think the teeth do anything for me but given it is all aesthetics (wish it was a different exhaust note), I think standard might be the way to go.
I have standard and a pretty classic gt look….I am swapping them out for the sport and I am adding a carbon driving zone steering wheel. I think the sport exhaust fit the car better and I don’t like how thin the wheel feels on top w/o the lights. Just another perspective….it can go either way and look great
What do you mean by how thin the wheel feels on top without the lights, how does the exhaust affect that?
