    Hi,

I want to gently build oil pressure before engine start up. If there a fuse I can pull so the engine crancks and oil pump circulates oil but engine doesn’t fire ?

Car has sat for a few months

    thank you

348 I pull the ignition and fuel pump relays and fuses. They are identified in the wsm. I actually have a color coated picture of it I can post later

    You have a 355 Challenge?

Does the big red handle stop the engine cranking? I don't have a wiring diagram for the Challenge (old or new).

Pulling the injection relay/s disables fuel and ignition on the standard car.

I just crank the engine by jumping the starter solenoid.

If you do it with the ignition on, but immo on, you can watch the oil pressure gauge

Does the Challenge have an immobiliser?

yes it is a challenge and it will be 6-7 month before it is fired again.
    No anti theft.
The red lever cuts all electric power so no cranking.
I will pull the relays. It’s only once at the start of the season, not much of a bother. It can’t hurt and would give me an opportunity to clean up the relays contacts.
    Thank you !
