At least for now. Ferrari is closing the books for both. Below are my answer for haters: - The car is ugly. (I found the car is beautiful and striking. Near hyper car road presence. Forward designs just like 458 and Enzo when they first came out. Definitely growing on me). - Lack of interest. (They are closing the books. Demand has been met in the near future). - The car has no soul. (I found the exact opposite. Connected to the car almost instantly. So much fun to drive). - The car is heavy, bad handling. (I don’t notice the weight at all. The car is so planted, handles very well). - The car has too much power. (I was worried about that too. It’s nice to have power on hand. The power is totally manageable). - Lack of trunk space. (I don’t do road trip or shopping with this car. Purely back roads enjoyment). - It’s a hybrid. (I thought I was a petrol head too until I drove the car. Just don’t use the hybrid or e mode). - It doesn’t sound good. (To me it sounds very good at all rpm. Also the right level of loudness). - It’s expensive. (Yes, it’s expensive. But you get a lot of bang for the buck especially on a Ferrari). - You can get five Tesla Plaid instead. (I would rather keep one SF90). My only regret is I’m too late to the game. Must drive to believe! Enjoy in great health @BCHOW. Thanks for posting as you were part of tipping me over the edge today. Now the wait officially begins. Can also confirm what you said above - word is the order books are closing quickly. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Orders for both Stradale and Spiders are officially closed as of this morning! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
This is true, because they lie about the actual production. Way more Enzos and LaFerraris than they said they were going to build.
I put in my order 2 weeks ago. Ferrari called me last week to tell me I had just made it and that Ferrari had now closed all new allocations.
Probably an allocation your dealer had which needed to be finished. Order books closed on Oct 18th for new allocations. That said, there are still allocations needed to be finished. On the 15th of Dec, my dealer told me that they had two 812 GTS still needed to be configured. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Are the books officially closed now? I ordered a sf90 spider in November (I think) so glad I got an allocation. Waiting for spring to come so I can try out my sf90 Stradale! Expecting a lot of tech issues with the car given the few issues I've seen so far, which disappeared by itself after a day or so. I must say, the sound from the car when driving slowly on electricity is futurustic and sounds great!!
I am going to my dealer in Scottsdale this week and wanted to place an order for a spider... I hope they can get me one... Anyone know a dealer with remming allocation?
Good luck but I think you are too late. Maybe if their list isn’t too long and someone canceled you could fill their order? Report back what you find out.
Speculating but they have filled all of the orders for the ones they will produce over the next 2 years. It is not a high volume production car and by the time they fill the existing orders in 2024 they will have a new model with new technology.
No sf90 they said they had quite a few orders rejected i place à deposit for 296 probably will do Taylor made anyone knows a dealer with a sf90 spider?
So frustrating guys nothing they can do... I saw an SF90 in a darker color at the dealership and the front looks so much more aggressive in person then on pictures. I was told if someone cancels they will call me, but form experience cancelation usually happens last minute (ie. can't change the specs) If anyone has a suggestion I would definitely be thankful!
If you really want one pay the premium and buy a preowned one. Most dealers have a long list and lots of people on the backup list if someone cancels. You are correct that usually if there is a cancellation the spec is most likely locked and you are stuck with someone else’s order.
They are selling for a huge premium. If there was an available allocation it would be snatched up and the car could be sold for a profit. I would suggest calling every dealer and seeing how long the list is. In this market you probably aren’t going to find one. I think a lot of people would like to get someone’s allocation.
This is not a "special serie" car - I just missed the deadline by a couple of weeks. Many on here place an order last week or the week before
