Well, firstly, you should be sending Steve (safe4now) a big thank you. You can't buy that kind of help/info.

    1. It is a seller's market, so you can try to offer a little less, but let them know you are serious and not a tire kicker. Since the dealer is not local, offer to wire a $10K refundable deposit contingent on a satisfactory PPI.

    2. Unless the tires are bald or are older than 5 years, fugeddaboudit. If the dealer throws in PPF, they're probably using the cheapest vendor in town.

    3. Unless you are a Ferrari expert and have the proper diagnostic equipment, there's no reason to see the car in person (since they're across the country and your flight to or back will probably be cancelled :D).

BONUS ANSWER: "I like the car, and now seems right for me." If everything falls into place, Just Do It! ;)

The only think different I would do is use a cc to put a deposit down if possible. Once you send a wire and things go horribly bad with the dealer in the transaction or in process, you can retrieve you money back more easily. My $0.02

You're right, I agree, that gives you one more out. Even using a cc through PayPal gives you another layer of protection. If you're dealing with a Ferrari dealer and you have it in writing you will be OK regardless.

I had IPE 200 cell cat pipes with Mase tune. Sounds amazing and very noticeable power increase.
I raced with my buddy's C7 ZR1 with exhaust mod and beat him. See the vid below.

However I traded my F12 and selling my low mile IPE cat pipes for $3200 shipped. Let me know if you are interested.
I also have a carbon fiber front splitter(direct replacement with OEM black center piece) wrapped with PPE for sale too.

I bought a certified f12 from ferrari of Atlanta last year. I live in NE. Love the car btw. Worst stereo in the history of car stereos but….

I wish I had done a ppi and seen the car in person. The dealer missed some split leather on the shelf which I replaced along with other bits ( cap on instrument cluster ) . $3k + and much hassle to redo. Sales guy cut me a partial check because he knew…

Might have just developed in the short time I drove the car but the water pump needed replacement and…. Main valve cover gaskets in engine were beginning to leak. That’s not cheap..

    Much pain/ convos with factory.
Got a minor accommodation for service and fuel pump but ate gaskets.

Car is perfect now - batteries another thing I’d have asked about. My car is out away on tender. Battery doesn’t not enough charge to start … one more hassle.

Certified car but I replaced the tires as soon as I can. Huge improvement.

My learning. Get a ppi regardless.

    Best

Curious how many miles you had and the quoted price of the valve cover gaskets? Not covered under extended warranty?

Had 12k.5 k; 15k now. Actually preferred a car w miles vs a car sitting for too long . but - what do I know. Finding correct spec 80% of battle

valve cover gaskets are expressly excluded from power warranty . They’ll replace fix the engine if real issues but not gaskets. Ironically someone in the factory acknowledged I could just leave it then they’d cover the engine when it blows or whatever. Made no sense. On a certified car.

how much for gaskets? I think ferrari boston quoted $4.5-5k; forget exact.
I had Tony at autohaus do it for materially less. It’s just labor. He’s a good guy - tightened things and replaced a few other gaskets while the car was open. Perfect now but what a pain.

I also bought an F12 last year. And yes the worst stereo in history of car stereos.... Can't stand it. Just a simple amp would solve the problem.
