    So I am wearing a 1979 Longines quartz watch - movement and model unknown, as this is what I believe to be a "front loader", and I'm unable to remove the crystal to determine the details. If anyone has an idea of what watch this is, would love to know.

    I love Breguets. We loved it when they picked us up in Geneva in their Bentley and took us to their factory for a three hour tour by the manager followed by lunch At a local restaurant. The only problem was that we couldn't take pictures. I got a real appreciation of the work that goes into making a fine watch.

    Really liking this new daily. Im tempted to get the black bay chrono as a reliever.

    If I cant get an ExplorerII, Ill get the chrono, pricewise its reasonable.

    If you can get a white chrono from an ad it's a no brainer. Not only is it a lovely watch but it's also sought after. I slightly prefer the black one and got one pretty easily. but I've waiting for the white one for over five months now. The watch wears super comfortably and is perfect as a daily ... you'll really like it if you get one.

    A similar Breitling with leather strap is $7k. The white or black in steel bracelet is steal if you can get one.

    Just got a Grand Seiko with the second generation of "Spring Drive". It has a 5 day reserve and accuracy of better than 10 seconds a month. Almost like a quartz watch but no battery!

    I have the black daytona and was considering a black tudor. It would be easier to get it I
    thought.

    My AD does not have one in the area. They called another branch and what they had was the Panda.
    Wanted the black but got the Panda, just lucky.

    Ill have it Wednesday after they ship it.

    I work with multiple AD.
    I ordered a Panda from another AD before I got this, they told me 1 yr. I dont think thats true, I am sure they will let me know, they have sold me the most rolexes, Ill let you know.
