They say it's TMU (True Miles Unknown) in the ad so who knows, looks like a 100k mile car to me

That car belonged to a forum member. If you search for brembo brakes you should see a post from him.

I LOVE the antenna in the middle of the top. Radio antenna, or the true status symbol of the eighties A PHONE antenna!
Can't believe how many cars were butchered in that period, installing phone systems which were certainly large. Predating the brick phones
which I hate to confess, having one, the car phones destroyed the interiors of many cars.

It was not really a TMU car, it's TMU by technicality since the odometer was switched from KM to Mi when it went through federalization. Also it's not clear that car was a 1994 since the EU market has no concept of model year and the car was first registered in late 1993 and produced earlier in 1993 (It's one of the earliest batches of ABS cars). Still looked like a very nice car with lots of documentation, honest seller, and luggage set.

For some reason I was under the impression that the 1994 model year cars were the only ABS cars. Perhaps I'm mistaken?

That may be true of USA specification cars, but not of other world cars.

    Per Red-Headed:

"The early 512 TRs didn't have ABS, but it was introduced in early 1993 (near s/n 96400). This also resulted in a ABS button on the left side of the steering wheel (not present on US and Australian versions) and a ABS check light on the dashboard."

And as you can see this car was an ABS car with an earlier Pininfarina body (so all subsequent cars had ABS). Also per Red-Headed Below:

"The "pininfarina" logo on the side (just in front of the rear wheel) on '92 and early '93 cars was in a "classic" style, while the logo on the late '93 and '94 cars was in a more modern styling, including the phrase "Designo Di". This was related to the fact that the production of the bodies was moved from Pininfarina to the Ferrari premises in 1993. A total number of 1381 bodies was made by Pininfarina (with 52 bodies in the year 1993), the rest was made by Ferrari."

This implies at least 880+ cars had ABS. Bear in mind many of the late '93/'94 production cars were in the EU and Japan. Some EU cars are even titled as 1995/1996 since model years follow first year of registration there.

Yeah - yours seems to be a rare overlap of:

    - ABS, Differential Upgrades
    - Later batch of Pininfarina bodies.

Probably an early '94 USA car built in mid '93?

Cars are not marked as TMU when switch from KM to MI for federalization so that's just an excuse the seller used or someone else said, you can swap odometers and have actual mile cars, it requires a notarized form of the person who replaced it and a sticker in the door jam so no, I'm not buying that story...
