You have to keep asking your dealer where it is in the build, it’s such a shame you cannot see that on the "My Ferrari" app. [ If you are reading this Ferrari, please can you add this function]?

My dealer has just been given 1 slot for the 2nd quarter of next year, at this rate, not all the builds are going to get for filled! I am hoping my build gets added to this 1/4.

Yeah, I stop by there regularly to get updates. They don't seem to know much either as Ferrari doesn't update real-time.

The My Ferrari app says I am still on the waiting list but my car is on a boat being shipped over. The app is JV.

Once you've specced your car, have the dealer submit it to the factory. Then it's on the factory to allocate a slot.

Same experience here and very similar timeline. Stuck at 10 G since October. My car is an Atelier build with a few extracomparios, like the paint, but nothing unusual for the factory. I do wonder if the paint is the bottleneck as its outsourced to Zanasi.

I purposely kept it relatively simple other than the painted shields in order to keep delivery time reasonable but it hasn't seemed to help.

To your point my dealer tells me it will be status 10 then go straight to 90 over night in their system as well so it's really a crap shoot. The app updates from Ferraris system. Sh it in shhit out.

The rest of the car is incredible, if he went with the std carbon it would have been perfect.

Good to hear I gave a deposit in Summer ‘21 and I am hoping for an allocation so 12 months sounds hopeful

Just a heads that my local dealer (Ferrari of Vancouver) says the order books for Superfast and GTS (as well as F8) are now closed. Congrats to those that placed orders

My dealer (Ferrari of Las Vegas) notified me on October 19, 2021 that they had received instructions from FNA to stop taking orders for the Superfast, 812 GTS, F8 Tributo, and F8 Spider. Wonder if the order books stayed open for a few months longer after all. I placed my 812 GTS order in June 2021 so my fingers are crossed that I eventually get mine!

I was told at time of order placement (June 2021 Ferrari of Las Vegas) that my wait time was 18 weeks. Based on all the comments I have received on this forum, it does seem wildly optimistic. I am now mentally prepared for 2023 delivery. Dealer also told me that it has been a while now that they have been quoting two year wait times for any new orders.

Just had atelier virtual appointment this week. Joined webex from show room at Ferrari lake forest which made it much easier given all the cars and samples available to reference. Ended up with GTS of our dreams with a heritage/historical feel.

Thanks for doing that - I couldn’t figure out how to do it! Exterior color is Alluminium Lucido and the interior is Cuoio toscano. Tricolore at noon on the wheel, most of the exterior carbon (but went back and forth on that). Contrasting Cuoio toscano stitching in areas of black leather and the atelier badges incorporate the French tricolore scheme from outside. We went rosso 70 anni for the red in the stripe. Think it ended up in a good spot. Considering going without interior carbon on bridge and vents. Open to input as will finalize build next week once atelier sends build sheet through.

Love it !!!!need to look at aluminum Lucida on next go around. So cool spec. I’ll say this the second owners will have a lot of amazing cars to choose. Certainly more TM/Atelier cars are made on this model than others.

I’m glad I did as I also thought it is a special model and lucky to be able to order. The idea that one will be able to find one and get a discount on secondary market will be a long way off.

    Congrats

I have it on my Pista stripe and will on my GTS stripe as well. It’s a nice, warm silver. Looks great with the Tricolore!

Who ultimately knows but agree about the discounted availability of these cars being a long way off. Feels like a lot of buyers are considering as a cornerstone/forever car so may be limited availability for awhile. Would be one of the last I let go, particularly given the customization and specialization effort!

Unless the F167 includes an open-top edition(i.e. rumored 812 non-hybrid NA-V12 successor expected reveal late 2023) - Except for salvage title cars, probably will be no chance to get an 812GTS at a discount (from original msrp) as demand will remain high for a very long time.
