    Dear Marcel,

I have always been disturbed by the lack of knowledge
of the 3.5 Litre Ferrari 860 Monza that David Tunick owned
for a brief period of time .

He has never been attributed the ownership of .
Thankfully he's been recognized for the 500 TRC , the 340 etc. and the 8CTF and many other cars as I'm sure you know.
Maybe not the 750S OSCA that Denise drove sponsored by Chinetti. That car was a blast to drive .

    But not the 860 Monza.

I was there when we owned both cars . the 500 was red and pretty .>> The 860 was no paint all aluminum silver body.
We ran it once if I recall.

I found a couple of pictures , of the car when we owned it
    Here they are

    Please RSVP your thoughts

BTW > I know of no other way to reach out to you , and don't even know if this thread is current

if so Happy New Year as well

^^^ Looks like a TRC, not an 860 Monza. 500 TRC 0668 MDTR and 500 TRC 0664 MDTR, which Dave Tunick is attributed to, had the engine only 860 Monza engine number 0688 installed in it.

@TUNICK Meant to say above that David Tunick is attributed to having owned 500 TRCs #0668 MDTR and #0664 MDTR, the latter of which is stated to have had the 860 Monza engine #0688M installed in it, which was an engine only, not a complete car, and before that a 750 Monza engine.

    from an eyewitness
David Tunick owned (however briefly) an 860 Monza
it was kept at 511 W. Main St. Stamford CT

    it
    was a
3.5 Liter no paint aluminum Ferrari. the pics are from us.

If Joel Finn did something odd, I don't know.
We owned the car , it was gone in a heartbeat.

    Finn ~ "stole" ~ <sorry ///

a large number of cars from my old man at a time
when **** was hitting my father's fan , no thanks to many,
    so

    moving on

I was there when Frank Gallogly picked up the 500 TRC , (see the sad photo)
    no dispute here
    we all know that ,
pictures of David Tunick and me
    500 TRC

You may want to post that in a separate thread because the 2-liter 500 TRC chassis #0668 MDTR has nothing to do with this Swiss hillclimb featured here and has never been in Switzerland.

Create a new thread with your own title/subject/reference, something like "Dave Tunick's Ferrari Spider" or similar. Up to you.
