Well perhaps but that was a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong 24 hours sunshine! Well the numberplate one may well do with the Xmas rush and all that.

What this plane hit was a very big bird to cause the prop to snap and go through the cabin https://apple.news/Avv6ZbFvfT42sqvCysAFqLA
Did the train driver make any effort at all to slow down or was blowing the horn about as far as it went?
So the possiblity of derailing the train,possibly/probably killing a host of folk and making a mountain out of a molehill is the accepted Great American Way......your mate Donny Trump would approve...
Looked like the Plane hadn’t triggered lights or boom gate - if the train was coming around a bend it would have no idea what was ahead... trains don’t stop easily anyway. Bet noone thought to contact the railway and tag an emergency. (and if it was anything like 000 Australia it would be all over anyway - another case last week trying to get an ambulance to a numbered beach access point and the operator didn’t know what the caller was talking about...
True, it was never going to stop, but if the train driver had applied emergency brakes instead of just standing on the horn it would have slowed down enough to give another few seconds to get the pilot out. Luckily, it didn’t matter. Have to laugh at the blaring horn. Did the driver expect the plane to go “Oh, ****!” and fly out the way?
More to the point in this incident - what on earth is an ‘amateur’ airfield doing in the middle of suburbia? https://www.google.com/maps/place/Whiteman+Airport+(WHP),+12653+Osborne+St,+Pacoima,+CA+91331,+United+States/@34.2622041,-118.4132046,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x13154eabf70b4b93
I think this spec works if the numbers are right. Looks spectacular. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/43838/spaceship-like-electric-aircraft-alice-prepares-for-its-first-flight-in-these-awesome-images Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
