This one with the stripe looks 20 times better.

 

When I had mine in December colored carbon wasn’t available. It will be available for later slots is what they told me. You can’t paint the carbon bar as well.

Your 812C will have the @treynor look. Giallo + Blue CF. Didn't like it at first, learned to love it

actually is not my final configuration......those are the first trials but the body color is the same
I am not a fan too of blue carbon so finally I keep the standard one

 

I believe there are 3 shades of blue they can use. Im not sure if you can specify but it could be worth investigating.

Interesting that they agreed to a strip running down the back. That was not an option for me.

 

They will allow it but are v specific - It is dependent on the colour of the stripe used ….

 

Bravo the stripe continuing past the rear spoiler! Dig it.

 

They tried to talk me out of it too. They didn’t say it wasn’t possible, just not recommended for my particular design.

 

With 812C “Ferrari Stile” dpt is much more dominant than in the past but I can say that in the last three weeks they open a bit!!
Now also the mirrors in different color are allowed.

 

But the reason why the strip wouldn’t be aloud would be that the blue carbon will not match the strip color. You cross there the blue carbon boomerang and you strip will stop at blue carbon again.

 

Sunday inspiration…..one of my TM config

actually the tricolore was not on the three blades of back diffuser but on the three side cuts of rear bumber. For me very cool but they didn’t approve

the above configurations were all approved so I am not sure I get your point
actually they don’t care if the color of blue carbon doesn’t mach the color of the livery
The Stile guidelines and limitations are coming from the original concept of the car
But as I said now they are more open to explore different solutions

Btw I agree with Stile and with Flavio point of view since in the past some TM customers made horrible configurations that are not even matching with the spirit of the car…..money and taste sometimes are not walking together!
So it’s correct to protect the original idea of the car

Can you imagine a Competizione with wood door panels instead of carbon? No and luckily they will not let you!!

 

They allowed me to extend the stripe down the back for my TM session but it was dependent on colour … as PPG70 said , they seem to be allowing more now than a few months ago …

 

perhaps there is more flexibility now to get manufacturing/production knowledge and rate going.

 

Yes , seems likely as the ‘availability’ of certain requests seems to be improving ..
