Is there a Victorian here whom get's on OK with Dixon at Intermarque? He has a couple of small but important parts for my 365 that I would like picked up/secured before someone else get's 'em.....a ute might be handier......
So weird. My car was very low on coolant for some reason. Topped it up and watched for leaks while I was putting in some hychill. (A/C perfect now) Water started coming out of the overflow hose so I just assumed I'd over filled it. Went to the front bleeder. No pressure. Stopped the engine when I'd put in the gas and decided to remove the header tank cap. No pressure! Seals look good. Spring feels strong. So I put the original one on.... Problem solved. Never seen that before. Better buy another spare. The 0.9 is the original BTW Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
Maybe the spring is slightly weaker than it should be. Feels good, but it's not 100% which is why it was pushing past that cap. Replaced many a cap over the years for the same thing and all the Holden Commodores, VT-VE I buy and sell now I fit new caps to them every time. Ended up buying a radiator pressure test kit that can test caps also, but I am experienced enough now to pick what's going on and radiator caps are cheap now also. Used that pressure tester kit back in the day but lol.
Went out for a nice drive down the Peninsula. Started out dry, ended up dry...but in between it wasn't so dry. Yeah....gorgeous. Didn't bring his roof. Poor guy had to make a quick U-turn and bolt home when that downpour started. The bloke in the GTS did too, even though he had his roof. The guy in the Porsche speedster just kept going. He got drenched and had a ball. p.s. I love my car.
