Perhaps try the Michelins, as the Pirelli’s in my opinion were pretty useless on my F12, and the car changed completely with the new tires. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Interesting. My actually selling my 992 turbo S for an F8 as I missed the emotion of my 488. That said I’m still waiting on production. Too bad you live on the other side of the pond or we could trade for a few weeks ..lol
I test drove the turbo s the week after driving the F8. You are correct about the emotion and the theatre of the Ferrari v 911. I just don’t feel confident in the f8 but when drove the turbo I had it flat out in few gears and felt safe. Don’t think I’ve pushed the loud pedal more than 1cm on my f8 lol. That’s fourth gear not first second or third. Probably just me though. Unless I can build my confidence no point keeping it. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yeah. I’ve put the Turbo S though the paces on a track and it’s nearly impossible to crash I would think even at super high speeds. Image Unavailable, Please Login
i went from .2 GT3RS to a 992 Turbo S. It has ballistic acceleration and planted at high speed (170 mph). I didn’t like it overall though and looking forward to F8 delivery. Didn’t have a “specialness”. None of these cars are set up for track duty anyway other than the Porsche GT cars that can run all Day long
you are right my F8 sticks fine as well. But there is a difference between 4 wheel drive and rear wheel drive. You have to appreciate the difference and then you can appreciate the difference in the cars. I have driven my F8 many times then hopped directly in our turbo 911 and there is clearly a handling difference that must be respected. In a straight line and milder curves the F8 is a beast. In tight cornering the nod goes to the 911. It makes sense. That doesn’t diminish either car it just makes them different. Bottom line the F8 requires a little more skill to prevent understeer or oversteer but I still prefer the overall driving experience in the F8.
I’ve never actually lost control or under steer etc. just not got confidence. Probably just me lol. First Ferrari. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
UK wet and cold weather probably not helping. Suggest you hold onto it until spring when you can really experience it’s handling and if then it’s not for you, it’s a better time of year to sell.
Prices on the F8 will keep going up since it’s the last V8, won’t have a special edition , and they ended the orders faster than anyone expected.

Why ? An Icona is exotic, Laferrari a numbered car like the Aperta. These are Exotic F8, 488 , 458 they are all production cars.
My reply has nothing to do with privilege's. It more to do with rarity/price. IMO the 458 , 488 , F8 are super cars not exotic. Anyone can pretty much walk in and buy one. Ill leave the exotic prefix to the Icona series , Laferrari, 918 , F1 , P1 etc. How can the Ferrari Monza SP be in the same line as the F8 ? Does it mean the SP is exotic exotic exotic car ? Like I said IMO EXOTIC is Exclusive and Limited.
I hear what you are saying but in my opinion a F8 is limited and exclusive. How many people can afford a $400k+ car….exclusive. I rarely see a Ferrari driving around. Even in a city as large as Atlanta. Ferrari is no longer making the F8…..Limited You will be hard pressed to convince many that a Ferrari is not considered an exotic IMHO your opinion will only find fertile ground amongst some in forums/company like this.
