    Ah, I know who it is. They have a mixed reputation. I bet they sent the diff to a 3rd party. e.g. In Sydney, all the "Ferrari specialists" use Craft Differentials.

    I'm late to the party as I don't get in to the Aussie section much these days.:)

    Great looking 365 Simon.

    Hopefully you will get the diff sorted soon. What a mess!
    This is why I decided to do mine myself - I know who to blame then if it stuffs up.
    I have made up my own tools for setting the pinion pre-load and to torque up the ring nut.

    The hardest part of my diff rebuild was trying to source the metal spacer #100822 that is ground down to set the preload. I ordered this part 3 times from Eurospares and Maranello and each time a rubber ring turned up. They both insisted that this was the correct Ferrari part and I eventually sourced the correct part elsewhere.

    The main issue in mine is that it's the wrong diff for the car.
    Had a quote from Victoria yesterday to make a one off C/W and pinion of $10k-$15k...then the rest of the diff has to be recond.

    Would it get much cheaper for multiple purchases? There may be some in the 400/412 section that might be interested in the manual diff ratio for auto/man conversions, but I suppose the gearboxes would be just as hard to find as the 365 diff.
