It was my understanding that Anastasia went missing after the disastrous events and that there are rumours that she was seen later on?

 

I keep my books on dry land

 

I hope you got a good price as the 4 volume is not going to be purchased by the car owners as they receive the 7 vol edition which makes the 4 volume rather expensive I feel.

 

Oh dear...

 

I did get a €100 discount but that still doesn't make it cheap. There are tons of information though with lots of technical drawings and images. Kinda happy with it so far.

Great. I’m sure it’s a fantastic book having looked at the quality of the WAFT RUF books. The limited one and the very very limited one which are both seriously good.

 

This book is at least the same quality as the Ruf book. I also contemplated buying that but I did not because I wanted a bit more depth and technical information on the individual cars. The Valkyrie book is much better on that level, which is expected of course since it only covers a single model.

The only game in town!

 

This a great chat room. We talk about Astons, Porsches, Lamborghini’s, super models ( not the cars !) models and now shelves ! Oh yes it’s a Ferrari chat room! I’m not complaining, far from it as I enjoy it all just amused.

 

We are out own little community within the greater Ferrari community. We are the cool kids

 

theres a picture of me sat at my desk in the valkyrie book when I was a design engineer on Valkyrie at Red Bull Advanced technology. the book is too expensive for me - I might ask Bart if I can get a discount as we helped him when he was in the office writing the book...
amazing car and and an amazing project to be involved with.. but the politics.... wow...

That is very cool! Do you know which of the 4 volumes and what page?

The Valkyrie is a truly magnificent car and I love the book for the detailed way of explaining this. Funny that you can hear the V12 when you take one of the volumes out of the slipcase.

Mind if I DM you for some questions about the Valkyrie?

yesterday I received a copy of il meglio del cavallino.... it's in Italian but the photo's are rare and beautiful. It's a book in 5 parts divided ; the GTS's, the Racecars, The men behind Ferrari, Beautiful Cutaway's, and Prototypes... It was published in 2017 but worth the price I paid (including transfer from italy).
