    Volkmar, I am intrigued by your trailer compared to US car trailers. Are those bars in front of and behind the car the legal way of restraining the car? We have to strap or chain down all 4 corners separately. It looks like there is a swing down support under the trailer (below "und") to use while loading/unloading. It seems that Euro trailers all have small wheels and full width decks, we call them "deck overs", popular for hauling snowmobiles. Those little wheels probably wouldn't stand up to 80 mph for hundreds of miles at a time. Even at that speed semi trucks would still be passing you while going up hill especially in the western states.

    Can't wait to see more of your restoration, looks great so far.

    The speed of all trailers is limited at 100 km/h but the small wheels are good for long trips. The "deck overs" are very popular in Europe, I suppose due to the smaller roads. And yes, we have to strap down all four wheels to be a hundred percent correct. ;)

    Is that Rosso Dino??? I'm looking for pictures of a GT4 in Rosso Dino to see what ours originally looked like. It's now Fly yellow, which is nice but it attracts flies like honey (hence its name).

    No, it is Rosso Chiaro. I‘ve seen a 208 GT4 painted Rosso Dino in person, looks great.
