    As I walked home, here are the last 3 odd ball cars to round out my top 10.
    8) AC 3000ME - same money as an Esprit in the day, so easy to see why it failed at the time. An Esprit (s1 and s2) was just as underdeveloped but Lotus had F1 panache to get it over the line.
    9) Studebaker Avanti - when a brilliant industrial designer (Raymond Loewy) designs a car.
    10) Panther Six - just for you Knocker, six wheel madness, inspired by the Tyrell P34.

    I liked the "Let's give it a go" attitude of the Panther - they obviously watched a lot of The Thunderbirds when they thought it up

    Seems everyone loves the Renault 5 Turbo.

    Having said that, in the videos that Simon posted of the CV8, gee that thing is really hustling.

    And seriously, who wouldn’t want the Renault 5 Turbo? You’d be odd not to want one, despite it being a odd and crazy car!

    Well the Bitter SC is styling was pretty much a rendition of Leonardo Fioravanti's 400 design, especially in profile. But it only has 1/2 the number of cylinders...
