Hi Guys Currently in the process of buying the following Mondial so let's add it to the list whether I buy it or not: Year: 1985 Model: Mondial QV Coupe Color: Black on Red Location: The Netherlands S/N: 506XX (Coming) Wondering how many LHD Black on Red QV's where delivered in europe, any way to find out as there is no official "website" to find these numbers and looks to me it's a pretty rare combo. As soon as I buy it i'll introduce me and the car.
Dear mods, Full S/N: 50611, The car is still in Spain as far as I know, seller turned out not to be reliable and he blew the deal. Still nice to have this car in the list tho. You can delete this post after changing my first entry if necessary.

1989 Mondial T Coupe #81834 has a new home in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, USA A HUGE thanks to @pbaron89 who mentioned here on FChat he was planning to sell his car. I reached out and the rest is history. What a great experience purchasing my first Ferrari from such a principled seller! A VIN search in this thread shows previously owned by members @jackson & @ProCoach. Thanks to all who cared for it prior to me. I look forward to many years of ownership. I am now the owner of the 1989 Mondial t #81342. Does anyone have a more extensive history (original dealer) information. The car is in good hands and good shape. Wrapping up a full service and extensive sorting of all mechanics. I am looking for any information to substantiate the #1 of 40 US coupes.
Hi Roc, curious on your build month, my 81834 is July 89. Other coupes I have recently seen online are June 89 including later VINs than mine.
It is my understanding that Roc unfortunately passed away just prior to the Mondial being finished with a major service at 63,414 miles. The next owner was unable to retrieve the service records/documentation from his widow and they are now gone/lost. After what i believe to be (4 years) the car has just under 64,000 miles on it. I purchased it in July and sent it directly to Ron Reineke in Atlanta. It seems the Mondial was hardly driven over the past few years. I am in the process of having it sorted now with a major service that has just been completed. Single disc clutch, fly wheel, motor mounts, and other mechanical parts have also been addressed as it seems one thing has led to another. I do not have information on build date and was hoping this forum would be a good place to start my journey has the Mondial's new caregiver. I do know that VINs in the late 80s and 90s were not model specific. Any help or information/links would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry I misread who posted and my prayers go out to Roc's family. Your VIN plate does not have month & year stamped?
My bad. I do not have that information currently. Car will be ready next week. I will get back to you as soon as I have the build date.
FWIW, my car is stamped July 1989 despite the fact it's several hundred cars built after yours. Ferrari must have been cranking them out full speed down the assembly line... Image Unavailable, Please Login
