Tutela FVI Source

I'll be attempting an oil change soon. I found Shell Ultra Helix. I can't find Tutela FVI except for Miller Motorcars and their shipping cost is absurd. I'll cough it up if I have to but is there a better way? Will a Ferrari dealership order it for me maybe?

 

I haven't done a lot of research but I see that LIQUI MOLY 1017 may be a good alternative

Maybe look into that ? Give them a call ?

Petronas bought all the Tutela products a while back. You can find it on European E-Bay sites, but have not seen it here. Does Ricambi carry it as part of their service kits?

 

Unfortunately not : / It's looking like I'll have to suck it up and get it from millermotorcars. Ebay is almost the same price.

 

Trying to stick with original specs/reqs. Thanks for the suggestion though.

 

I would try a Indy or s a Ferrari dealer near you ..they might sell you a quart

I bought a few liters at the Ferrari dealer in Naples. I think it was about $40 or so each. They have it on the shelf. You are supposed to add 800 grams to new oil on a 599. One bottle holds just over 800 grams.

 

Good call on checking with the Ferrari dealers. They had it on their shelves ready to go. Thanks everyone!
