Thank you so much for the info- Both ebay kits are the same kit, but one as Buy it now and one as Best offer. Condition not so pristine, but it's still decent for someone who's missing a kit, right?

It’s a great starting point….looks like it’s mainly missing a few bulbs and fuses (cheap / easiest to replace stuff mostly). I can’t make heads or tails if it includes the tire inflator? It does seem to include the manual holder too (although I have no idea what’s inside it)

If you remind me later in the month I can pull mine from storage and cross reference what’s missing.

Honestly I can’t comment on price. I have no idea what these go for

 

Also search ‘Bordwerkzeug FERRARI 512’ o. German EBay for a more complete set minus the manual pouch. It’s slightly more expensive.

(I was working a deal with VetroresinaNL for one, helped him locate a tool he was missing, and then he just renegged on receipt of the tool after wasting weeks of my time- I've lost all respect for this guy)

It was a rare option in the US, but more often seen overseas

 

You need the jack etc or just the case?

Because there are a couple of jack sets on ebay now- of which I imagine you're aware

 

Guys- If you ordered the optional spare tire, you got the floor jack too. Otherwise you only got the standard tool kit.

That's why you don't see as many jacks around as tool kits.

 

Unlike the testarossa, the 512TR jack came in a square box, similar to the 355. The testarossa had a pouch / roll cover, not a case.

I would like to have just the case.

And yes they were very few options selected it in the US. Most of them were selected on European cars

 

Understood- I will keep an eye out for a case. But I imagine you'd have to buy the kit to get the case.

I also think you could ebay all the tools if you did so and make out just fine if you had the patience to do so.

It supposedly was shared between the 355 and 360, and is basically a slightly larger version of the battery charger box

I have a tool kit for a 512TR. I have about 60 more detailed photos of everything I can send your way. It’s missing the tow hook and a few bulbs. Also the tire inflator in the kit is for a F40, I was thinking of posting that separately. It’s been a nice conversation piece for the past few years but it’s time for me to sell.
