Those end plates on the front wings look like they might be tyre slicers!

What a simpleton uninspired livery. I hope the engineering is better than the graphics. The center bulge, probably the outcome of the rules, is ugly. These cars will all appear ready to give birth. Not that it matters. For the first time in near 50 years of following F1 since a teenager, I am unlikely to waste many Sunday mornings on this farce.

It's probably nothing to get excited about, but at least we're one step closer to starting a new season. I'd have to predict that whether Haas remains 10th or moves well into the midfield, Schumacher tops Mazepin easily this year.

True! We are closer. The nice thing is the cars will have all distinctive color scheme to set them apart in the new 'spec' look of F1 :)

They should have just put the Briggs Cunningham livery on it and called it a day, but no, the American team has to put the flag of Russian on the front wing. SMH

Not only on the front wing, but on the engine cover too.

But it has to be said that the sponsor is Russian and not American !!!

"Who pays the piper, calls the tune !"

Briggs Cunningham financed his team himself.

Yeah I know, but I’m still grossed out by it. Wimbledon White and Guardsman Blue is as American as apple pie, and that should be what’s on an American car, just like Aston Martin has BRG, Ferrari has Rosso Corsa, and Mercedes has Silver.

The livery on the HAAS in 2022 is almost the same as last years livery. We all know whose behind it.

I did a bit of research on US-registered F1 teams of the past:

    - CAMORADI 1959/61 raced Maserati, Porsche, Cooper and Lotus in F1.
    - Scarab 1960 Lance Reventlow's team
    - Scirocco 1962/63 Hugh Powell/Tony Settember ex-Emeryson team
    - AAR Eagle 1966/67 Dan Gurney's team
    - Shadow 1973 to 1980 Don Nichols' team. It was registered in UK towards the end.
    - Haas (called Beatrice) 1985/86 That's Carl Haas (not relayed to Gene Haas), the US Lola importer.
    There may be more ...
Apart from CAMORADI (at times), none of the others used American colours.

Gurney's T1G was blue and white. So was the 1964 Ferrari 158 N.A.R.T. Enzo knew the proper livery to put on his "American" F1 car.

Perhaps, not as common on F1 cars, it is still the archetypal American livery and it's unfortunate not to see it.

Haas didn't use "American" colors before being sponsored by Mazepin anyway, what's the fuss.

Since advertising is allowed in motor racing, the sponsors dictate the cars' livery. That's a fact of life.

I thought the Haas Beatrice Lola livery was very reflective of the team’s nationality. Red trimmed with white and blue, couldn’t mistake it for a Fezza.

I’ll casually mention the original colour assigned to the U.S. in the early 1900’s was red, Germany received (my preferred colour for the Germans) white, the French blue and the Belgians yellow.
