What about Phil Hill, or Jody Schekter who took a title for Ferrari ?

To even put Alonso in the list (and in front of Gilles) just shows how little about ferrari and it's fans the author knows!

I have to agree and disagree. Gilles should be on the list, but Alonso was the finest Ferrari driver since Schumacher and is tied with Massa for the fifth most wins.

I am surprised that Fangio figures on that list.
Fangio was a great driver, but not really a "Ferrari man": him and the Commandatore couldn't stand each other.
Following Mercedes' withdrawal, Fangio didn't have much choice of a drive for 1956, so he came to Maranello.
But as soon as the season ended, he jumped to Maserati where a seat was available for 1957.
Both Fangio and Ferrari mentioned their mutual dislike in their memoirs.

The fact that Alonso lost 2012 with only 3 points says enough. That year he had not rights to be anywhere near that close, he should've been 100+ points down minimum. He worked absolute wonders and it was one of the finest seasons of anyone that didn't result in a title IMO.

Yes, but he himself failed a lot, by the end of the season Massa was faster and had to help him a lot. Anyway he's never been an " icon " fof most ferrari fans. Gilles is by far the most iconic driver Ferrari ever had.
Alesi, Alboreto, Berger are all drivers much more linked to Ferrari than Alonso, even Felipe or Kimi.

Best five and you'd have something to talk about...but the best 10 is just loading the list with filler.

Very much disagree on the last point. Them more iconic Ferrari drivers than Kimi, who won a title for them?

I expressed myself wrong, i meant that Kimi or felipe were more iconic that fernando, not that the others were more iconic than Kimi or Massa...
