Fair call and that’s why I enjoy putting these cars up, especially 355s, an experienced opinion always makes for an interesting and informative read.
    Thanks [emoji120]

I don’t think I’ve the steel for a 355, I like driving the car a lot. [emoji51] mind you I recon if half the folks who owned them drove them on a daily basis they’d probably be good for 300,000km before a rebuild [emoji33]

Something else to add and ponder on Ferrari’s quest for world domination.

I have also been told by friends in the US, the push now for attending major Concourso events there, is the car MUST have "Classiche" to be able to enter. Not confirmed yet.

The rubbish has to stop. It's a car club FFS.

I have seen cars with the red book squeal of approval that were so far off original, it really brings into question what knowledge base this judgement of originality comes from. Let alone the outrageous cost to the owner...... every 5 years.

Just to make sure you’re doing what your told and you fall into line.

What next, a special vial of aromatic scent for $300 u.s.d /bottle of factory test drivers fart to anoint the seat just before the judges inspect the interior of the car???? 1/2 a point deduction if not detected with the judges $2000 factory approved pong-ometer!!
Can't enter if you don't have the right shirt on, and raised lettering on your business cards, or have a special ferrari shield tattooed on your arse for $5000.

    I'll take the tattoo thanks Murray, it's only a one-off cost :p

Come on the GG Muzza and we can bag Ferrari for 5 days about this stupidity .......... they don't want enthusiasts, just mega rich people

I think you'll find that rumour originated from the Sheehan article, which was largely based on the recent Fchat thread about Canossa Events and their management of the Cavallino Classic in Florida. I'm currently not aware of any independant Ferrari concorso where Classiche is a requirement, nor has there been any push from Ferrari to the clubs regarding that.
In the meantime, the ICPFA have recently launched their website with the concorso rules and judging process.

The"information" was said to me over the phone directly,
by someone who has judged many concours in the US.
As I said not confirmed, but some very unhappy long term owners over there, the thin edge of the wedge for want of a better term.
