Here you are, sir: "In 2023 we will have the follow-up for the Aventador, which will be the first plug-in hybrid, with a complete new V12 engine,' he says" https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/electric/lamborghini/
Not according to Porsche. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/05/19/porsche-911-bigger-engines-in-2026/ Being part of VWAG, Lambo will certainly be aligned with this direction. I don’t think either the V10 or V12 will be downsized, but I do expect improved combustion efficiency, cylinder deactivation, sail mode and whatever other tricks they have up their sleeve.
Hahahahhaha, did you read the article? This is pure nuts from the EU. I admit to being perplexed. “ These draconian regulations passed to coerce automakers into going electric will put a limit on relative power per liter of displacement, meaning an engine's horsepower output will legally and directly depend on its displacement. Carmakers allocated a considerable amount of time, money, and energy into pursuing the exact opposite (making big power from a small engine) in the 2010s…….”
Reading through the thread the STO seems less than favourable on many fronts going by the replies Now that a few of you have taken delivery does the suspension kangaroo hop everywhere as previously mentioned, and does the exhaust/engine have an intoxicating resonance at the top end or is it a bit meh following on from the Performante? Interested as I am weighing up whether to order a new STO (have a slot) or buy a used 765LT. The appeal of spec’ing a brand new Lamborghini (I have never had one) and the 4 years warranty/servicing is great, but not to the point I buy a car that will hold no real provenance/desirability in future years vs its competitors of course.. Currently have a Pista and Weissach 3RS for comparison
Here’s the second Black Series to come up on BAT recently. It seems like these cars are holding strong. I know they are relatively more rare than their brethren. Curious what comes after this car? Is this the likely end of the pure ICE run for MG-AMG GT? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2021-mercedes-benz-amg-gtr-black-series/?utm_source=dm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2022-02-12 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't know if it'll go any higher than the 510 it's currently at, but with 7hrs to go price is already strong for a Canadian car.
Well, if one of you handsome rich folks does want a matte black one you are always welcome to contact me. soulsea is always for sale, except for the 458S cause I’m getting buried in that. I’m even happy to call myself sea if you’re looking for a slightly used soul.
Latest indications are that they produced around 1,700 units - so slightly less rare than the 765LT. The next GT is based on the new SL platform. I think it’s highly unlikely that it’ll escape some form of hybridization by the time the R or BS variants come out.
I have a 2022 STO, and it’s my first Lamborghini, so taking a while to get accustomed to it. It’s raw, crude, etc. but not uncontrollable. The RWS and RWD are a real winner……The more I drive it, I’d say it grows in me each time. Cockpit, driver position, cabin…..all great. If you are unhappy with the sound (it’s fine for me), there are numerous and easy solutions. I wouldn’t let it hold me back from a purchase. Many STO owners are younger and more adventuresome than us F guys, so they’re doing all kinds of mods already. As one of the last V-10s, this car is all about pomp and circumstance. With only 630hp, it’s not Image Unavailable, Please Login in the same class as a 765LT or Pista, but would make a nice addition to your stable.
First few 100kms in the 765LTS and its phenomenal!!! Insanely quick and visceral. Rides beautifully in comfort mode and no issues in traffic. Cant wait to "run it in" and then give it a proper go!!. If you can get one I highly recommend it from the initial time spent in the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice. I struggled with which blue but ended up doing Vega. Still wonder if I made the right choice but I guess I won’t know till it’s delivered in May!
Took the GT3 out for a photoshoot. This will have to suffice till my 765 spider comes in: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice job with your spec. I am regretting not taking the slot I was offered after seeing a couple in person. We had a few 992 Cup cars out on the track at Sebring and the move pretty well and also sound decent. I am actually thinking to drop Ferrari next year and just move to the Porsche series.
