Help identifying a clip

I'm hoping someone here can help

When I dismantled my 308 for restoration there was a very neat clip that secured the plug for the wiring that goes to the number plate lights, located at the RH engine cover hinge as per the picture.

I stored that clip in such a special/safe place that 4 years on I've never been able to find it.

It doesn't show up on a parts catalogue that I've been able to see and I've contacted Maranello Parts on two occasions but never gotten a response, I'm guessing they think it's too smaller part to worry about.

Anyway can someone take a pic of one fitted to theirs or know of another car, Fiat maybe? that used the same clip. My OCD is killing me that I know it should be there but isn't.

Have you asked Brian at T Rutlands? He's been a Ferrari parts man for over 40 years. I suspect he'll know more than anyone here.

So much help from the Ferrari family here. It's fun to see threads like this. A ton of knowledge here.

 

I'll bet you could find that at a local hardware store or HD, Lowes, etc.

 

Or make it yourself....

 

I bought some of the clips. I will let you know if they will work. Clips on 1/16 to 3/16 flange and will fit the range of the plastic connector.

They definitely look the same, Funny I can find plenty of retailers in the UK and the USA but not Australia. They seem to under a couple of names Girder clips, flexible cable clips etc, obviously not popular with Australian electricians. I'm waiting to see whether T Rutlands can help, either way I'm going to up for some shipping costs

 

Supposed to arrive today. I will post photo and website, if matches or very similar.

 

I received the clip. I needed to open up the clip to fit the plastic connector.
Purchased from ElectricalParts.com 0.71 each
It is spring steel.

A SC2D may not require bending the clip out some.
I have some coming in a couple of days. I will let you know if this is the better item.
