Im a Rolex AD customer but I still sense lower customer appreciation compared to pre-pandemic times.

I go to AP and Patek which I have no relationship. sales agent would not even stand up to greet you when you enter and would just say we cant sell you a watch.
    Who is worse right now?

I'm not sure what is being asked. Sales or service issues? ADs are generally independant owners, at least with regards to Rolex. My cousin is one. Hot watches will sell in a day. Really hot watches will sell in hours. If an AD won't sell a watch it is because they don't have it. There's no reason they would not sell something in the case or from their stock. As far as servicing, some ADs have a CW21 and brand-certified watchmaker under their roof, contract with one, or else they have to send the watch to the brand's service center, preferably in the respective country they're in (not always). As far as courteousness of staff and salespeople that's a different issue but could vary wildly especially from county to country so not sure that a pole of such here will say much.

Is welcoming customers not part of customer service?

Definitely! I guess you're talking about sales or the front end then.

Right now those are the worst 3 for this. Try out Grand Seiko or any of the brands based on Glashütte. Maybe Vacheron Constantin? There are many other great brands that have equal or better watches than AP, Patek, and certainly Rolex. Rolex ADs get watches and call the same few people when they come in, before anyone else would get a crack at it. I know a couple of those people and got one of mine through them.

I walked into a Patek store with my friends a couple years ago (Bal Harbour Shops), wearing my 5726 I might add, and the salesperson not only didn’t get up to greet us he didn’t even look up from his desk when I asked him a question.

Richemont groups in general have pretty amazing customer services. I have received gifts after gifts on different occasions delivered by different brands within Richemont group.

Rolex and Patek do not have boutiques in US. Only AD. So I surmise that there is no standards across US in its customer service rendering.

I don't have Hublot, so I can't speak to LVMH group brands when it comes to watches. For handbags, I don't think they are as good as Richemont's watch brands

AP has always been pretty good though near impossible to grab a LE. Service was pretty quick.

Patek took about a year but did a full restoration and came out beautifully.

Carl F Bucherer is lower on the totem pole than any of the 3 named but phenomenal sales/service.

I contacted FP Journe boutique in Miami recently expressing my interest having never set foot in there. Had a nice phone conversation with a really nice guy named Vasil.
He politely explained the extensive interest and wait times and it would be 2-3 years to get a watch, to which I told him I was fine with that. I told him I love the history of watches and have quite a few beautiful books on various brands, but couldn’t find anything on Journe.
Today I received from Fedex a package with a beautiful book done by Kiran Shekar as well as several brochures and newsletters.
    Really FIRST CLASS operation!
Can’t wait to become part of the Journe family.

Vasil is definitely great in person as well. He is relatively new in this job, but his enthusiasm clearly shines. You won't go wrong with FPJ and you may love A Lange customer service too!
