The brave new world with monkey NFTs selling for millions and exciting money-laundering opportunities in every corner of the crypto world will take any status symbol thrown at it by the luxury goods producers.

A bit like cocaine-driven Miami Vice style sales in the 80ies taken to the new age.

Count me old, but a status symbol (useless at that for half a year in my climate) is a 2-door coupe. That I understand.

A wagon - well, it means that you value utility - are you a true baller then in the eyes of a Russian ballerina?

But it will sell, of course.

    Everything red sells.

A comparison of the outfit of the Purosangue black mule with the lines of the Ferrari 250 Breadvan suggests where Maranello's tailors got the model.

The first owner of this 250 GT Breadvan was the rich Italian Giuseppe Volpi count that started a racing team in the early 60s and was one of Ferrari’s best customers. When Ferrari’s chief engineer and car development chief Giotta Bizzarrini and a host of other Ferrari employees left the company in protest with Enzo they formed a rival company ATS (Automobili Turismo e Sport). Count Volpi with all his money sponsored them. So Enzo was very pissed and refused to sell Volpi even one GTO, let alone the two he wanted for his racing team. What Volpi did was asked Bizarrini to modify a 1961 Ferrari 250 to the specs of a 250 GTO. Nicknamed the “Breadvan” due to its Kammback design the car debuted at a 1000 Km race at Nurburgring track in 1962.

No way it’s going to look anything like that. That looks like a well used bar of soap. Or a Porsche.

The Purosangue will have much more dramatic proportions, design elements and surface complexity than this.

Ingenere’s side profile view sketch is probably the closest thing we have seen to the real vehicle.

If it is non hybrid V12, I may have to order. Even if my bride doesn’t like the look. That’s why no Lusso in our garage, which I somewhat regret.

Well spotted. Even though Ferrari modified the rear camouflage with the intention of deceiving the more curious, as you noticed the wrinkles show the shape of the rear spoiler. By looking at other pictures of the mule bonnet I get the impression that the air-intakes are fake, This can only be confirmed or not after we see the Purosangue without the camouflage.

As pointed by 456-boy the shape of the rear diffuser can be seen in the mule spotted yesterday. However, no diffuser can be seen in the mule spotted last December of 2021. This means that changes are continuously happening under the mule's black canvas.

PS- The INGEGNERE with his skills by looking at this last picture of the rear perhaps will be able to figure out something.

Feeling the same way. My wife drove an FF for few years. Sold it and she got a portofino which she really likes but I miss the FF…so it may be P time.
