Reminds me a bit of that Dino that looked like a mess, and now is beautful. I forget the thread.

In a couple years I will read here, that this Maser was bought by one of us, for $14k, returned to it’s former glory, and turns out, it is an ex-Gilles Villeneuve blah blah blah. Gilles ran it at Monza, and Jacques wants to trade his apartment in Monaco for it.

 

Had a chance to buy it 9 years ago when it was still shiny (more or less) and running. Too big a project then.....bigger now........ Too bad; I've lusted after it since seeing it in person at a garage just outside Monza.

If I'd had the room back then..... I'd have been able to overlook the automatic (mostly)

 

I have to agree that at the right price an auto isn’t a bad idea. As I get older, I’ve been thinking of adding a collector car with an automatic. Something like a Jensen Interceptor convertible, MB SL, etc.

 

From the UK is this Alfa 8c spider bodyshell which is supposedly from an unallocated build, as not all the spiders were sold. Vendor says it should bolt straight on to a Granturismo chassis…they have lights etc for extra £££

BIG project, but while you were at it I suppose you could make it a manual.

Not ebay but found this thing. The listing says it's a VW buggy (which isn't a factory model) but reverse image search says that it's a JBA Falcon. One of those retro-uk-based-kit-car-company thingies apparently.

 

Can't access it outside of Turkey.

 

That seems off. Here are some screenshots that contain all of the thumbnail images. No idea why they would restrict access to the site, maybe copyright trouble?
