The stripe down the middle of the seat will also be bianco leather. Let me know what you guys think and if I should switch things around!
Congrats! How long for delivery? Couple things no front lift? Purely subjective but I am over Daytona seats, looks old school and out of place in this modern super car. Secondly I love the Red valve head covers vs the carbon. The engine is the heart beat and looks better in red. Of course just my opinion.
I think 18-24 months for delivery which is fine. I have an F8 Spider that just went 10R so I'll be enjoying that for a good bit. What seats do you suggest? Something to consider on the carbon engine cover. The spec isn't fully done yet. And yes, for sure will do the ELEV suspension lifter option.
I was debating between the Giallo Triplo Strato but being the Monte Carlo is the launch color and is a deeper tone of yellow I figured it makes the most sense.
If you want Carbon Seats you can do Specific Design Race Seats, if you want power and heat you can do Comfort seats Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful spec! I was not a huge fan of the SF90 when I first saw pictures but its really growing on me and this spec seems to show the design very well.
Also the Spider is more beautiful than the Coupe. Finally, the road presence of this car is a whole notch above that of any V8 before it. This is more in the Aventedor league when it comes to road presence (please note that I am not only talking about the design per se).
I want to go with a bold exterior and interior. I'm in S. Fl and you can easily get away with a bold presence. I will change the stripe down the middle of the seats to bianco leather to match the bianco stitching.
Hi What about RUF1--Leather roof, as compared to the standard material? I'm ordering CRP4 (alcantara) carpets. I see that you have CRP1. Do you know what is the difference? I'm ordering the new race seats with Daytona stripes, but I'm not doing the center stripe in a different color. I'm also going with carbon fiber valve head covers. I do like the red, but LaFerrari, and the Pista and Speciale have carbon fiber valve head covers. John
I will be doing NERO alcantara headliner. Are the new race seats different than my order? I assume my carpet is the traditional material but I’ll check out the alcantara I don’t recall seeing that as an option.
If you're set on red seats, I would change them to Bordeaux. The Rosso Ferrari red is really bright red and will clash with the Gialo Montecarlo. Bordeaux would be a richer look and won't clash. Then I'd change the calipers to black and the stitching to black. Doesn't make sense to have white stitching and stripe because there's no other white on the car. You currently have three disjointed colors that don't really work together and don't form any sort of cohesive theme. Just my 2 cents.
I know this is straight yellow and not Montecarlo, but see what I'm getting at? This car looks like the McDonalds car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. I went with Monte Carlo as I've never ordered a yellow tone before and thought Monte Carlo suits the spider nicely. I struggled with the interior color so went with charcoal. It's subdued but think it works quite well after seeing some of the launch videos and photos. Blue tones also work well with yellow but since my GTS had Blu Sterling didn't want another similar interior. Also agree with calipers so went with black (1st time in all my years of speccing yellow or red) with diamond polish. Obviously, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone should order what they fancy.
I recently had a similar experience. I specced black calipers on my 812 GTS. First time I had specced black calipers in years. I thought yellow would have been the obvious choice since it's a blue spec. But we toggled back and forth between black and yellow at Tailor Made and the yellow distracted from the rest of the car.
I, too, went with Monte Carlo on my spider with AF. Normally don't go with yellows, but wanted something different than the others in the stable. Car is on the water now, and I'm really curious to see the color in person. Interior is nero with a bunch of Alcantara and carbon. Calipers are black, as I felt the body color of the car should provide ample pop.
I'm waiting on a tailor made appointment. I'll stick with the exterior color but take the suggestions many of you made and tone down the interior. Definitely don't want it to look like a McDonald's car.
So, here is my suggestion. You usually want complimentary colors. In this case the gold is basically a yellow. A complimentary color to yellow is blue. Black and gray obviously work so a combination of black, gray with blue accents may work. Now, purple also works with Yellow. If you get get the red dark enough to have a purple cast (such as burgundy), it might work. But you literally have to see the samples because on a computer screen its too different to decide if it works or not. It might be outstanding. Its just too hard to tell by a computer rendering. Ultimately its what works for you.
Good choice. I recently booked my TM appointment for my SF 90 Spider. It's in August! They are six months out. More typical is 2-3 months. So it looks like I'll be getting my car in 2024. Oy.
The purple is an interesting suggestion. Perhaps black with some purple accents. I think it would look rich with the gold. Poltrona Frau has some purplish colors. Question is does TM offer them? TM does not offer every color made by Poltrona Frau (as I learned at my last TM visit). Another option that could work well is a brown. https://www.poltronafrau.com/en/colorsphere
