As I answered Pete,I've actually started to fall in love with him. It's a great,quiet,brilliant looking GT car and that's how I look at it. Don't mention the other bloody Pommy car thanx!
If I ever find myself properly wealthy, I'm going to buy a 246 and stick a 355 engine and gearbox (maybe even F1) in it, upgrade the suspension and some creature comforts but keep the exterior completely standard. It will be wonderful, not least because it will wind-up the old beardy types. For the same reasons I'd like to stick a 458 engine and gearbox in a 355. Maybe I'll do both.
