That's a sexy car from this angle.

Shame though F1 cars are so streched these days.

Too bad. So close yet so far.

Pretty stupid decision. The worst fear for teams is having other teams see their car… and all the other teams are there!

BTW, so obviously you’re in Spain now, per your location, yes?

Yeah I'm back in Spain now. I've been to testing at Barcelona multiple times, it's always a great experience.

So, no journos on site, huh? We’re even getting pictures of the motorhomes. I’m pretty sure we’ll get car pictures too.

O/T: McLaren graphics—from car to trailers and beyond—are just awful.

Any particular reason why they’re not letting media/public watch testing this year?

Mercedes doesn't want the media/public to see how many sandbags they mount aboard their cars. :D

So there's 2 testing events, Barcelona and Bahrain.

F1 is treating Barcelona as a shakedown session. They will let media and coverage of this shakedown but no TV coverage.

At least that's what I'm understanding.

It's all BS to me really....but it is what.it is

This^^^^ - Press report stated a few weeks ago the Bahraini's negotiated to have the second test as part of its 'We are the first race of 22' gala overall. So much for 'fan' connecting Liberty. Its sad. We would all still be excited for all of this. WAKE UP LIBERTY!

So we’ll have an idea of the pecking order on March 20th….

Historically the teams have said that it’s about the third race of the season before the pecking order is clear, so I’ll say late April.

Traditionally Melbourne was the opener and there were some anomalies due to the street nature of the circuit. If Monaco and Baku were the openers based on last year we’d have been over the moon. The development race this year is going to be intense.

According to Toto (being polite) not so much because of cost caps.

He’s also mentioned in interviews with him:

1/ Ferrari has a 0.2 sec—there’s that 0.2 number again—advantage in aero development because of the extra time allowed due to their 2020 standing.

2/ Teams will have gone down one design dirdction and developed only this due to restrictions and if they got it wrong, it will be hard to change direction.

Wonder if he’s empathizing with other teams or worried about his team? Hmmm.

No, Toto 's just sandbagging, he is the undisputed World Champion at it!

when is Toto full of bs? When he’s talking. You’d think he was managing Haas.
