I suspect it will look much better in person. Ferraris always need that 3D perspective. The front wings nicely curve and there is a nice central bulge in bonnet which reminds slightly of F50 from this angle.
This is what a lot of people saying for the FF. Give the chance for official photos and especially the real model on the street.
It’s horrible man! Thought it was bad on my 488 and Pista. This is like the new Bronco I just bought!
This thing is going to sell. It's only around because Ferrari is a publicly traded company, and they need to sell the hell out of their market. This is just increasing their reach. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Of course it will be sold out. NFT-drooling crypto maniacs will love this car. It's all about the hype.
It will sell. I may even buy one. But the initial photos do not shed a favorable light on this vehicle.
I am not sure...don't think many of the recent models have done too well...812 cut production short, SF90 seems to have suffered a similar fait, Roma not doing super well and also don't think there is a huge queue for the 296
The car will sell out and hold its value well if they proceed with the motion of launching it as a V12 and then removing that powerplant from the line up, replacing it with a lesser engine. Urus' have held their value ridiculously well, so has the G63. This type of car is incredibly in demand. Think about the enormous pleasure the first white collar refugee to Marbella can take when he's the first one parking it in the Banus marina, visits the Gucci store, picks up his new hat, and then sits down to smoke his shisha pipe whilst the gold diggers stand on the roof of the car posting it on social media. However, when the demand is meet in a few years time. Values will tank, It's not a question of if, but when.
This post is completely mis-informed. There was more demand for the 812 GTS and SF90 than Ferrari had capacity. They had to close the order book or they would be delivering these cars until 2025.
Selling the F12 and replacing with an 812 GTS so that I could have a Purosangue, this evening feels like it is not one of my wisest moments.
That is not the reason for closing order books. Right now Maranello already has firm orders for more than 27'000 (twenty seven thousand) new cars, brand new cars sold already, which basically is almost three full years of production. They simply cannot build more. Marcel Massini
The I know I had been fighting over the decision in my head as I wanted the Purosangue and dealer said current model only due to anticipated demand. I was due to advertise for sale when I get home from Holiday but I do not think I will now
I agree with you. Remember the F12TDF launch with the weird angle phone vid which made the car look bad and most here were quite disappointed. Of course, we all know how much the F12TDF is loved now. I for one am keeping an open mind. Honestly, anything unique is better than an Urus. That is probably the most disappointing $300k+ automobile that I have ever seen in flesh. One look and anyone can tell that its an Audi. Also, I am not sure what folks were expecting, its a SUV. Renaming it as the FUV does not make laws of physics disappear. If you need it to be big, commanding and spacious then guess what, it will not look like a sleek Sedan. Ferrari already tried the halfway house with FF and GTC4Lusso, neither of which was a commercial success. I for one was not expecting anything else than what we are seeing.
I started this thread on the 6 December 2017 and the following day Caeruleus, Jerry, who is a knowledgeable and highly respected member of this chat posted the following about an hypothetical future Ferrari SUV: “My very humble suggestion, simply a passionate Ferrarista to Ferrari: if you need some other elements of the SUV, such as extra doors, or a little more ride height, then I think you should make a "LWB" version of the GTC4. Maybe 4" longer- all for the back seat- and maybe 1.5" higher and you could add back doors- perhaps in a way where they are more disguised than in other cars. This would not be a SUV, but simply a little bit more practical GTC4 (a practical car already). And please keep the V12. “ Jerry, Manzoni has listened to your suggestions and what that leaked picture of the rear of the Purosangue shows is that evolution of the GTC4. After looking to these pictures of the Purosangue I know I should express my opinion about the car but I won’t. I’ve been misguided many times before by car pictures therefore I’ll wait patiently until Ferrari releases the official pictures and video of the Purosangue. Then I’ll give my opinion about the design of the car.
I was going to say the same thing. All you said was there was more demand than capacity and he said, no that’s not reason—there’s more demand than capacity. LOL
