Great pub meals

So when I stay at the SSC after GG and before Port D,which little villages have NO Red Rooster and F........ing Surf Club counter Attacks .....NOT sure what is the worse of the two RR or Surf Club grub!

You may be surprised by some grub Surf Clubs offer. I know Noosa Surf club got voted best in OZ a few years back. We went there last week and the food was great (pub style food obviously) and the view is outstanding. My steak was cooked perfectly and 250gm was just right for lunch, nice pepper sauce, chips, salad and a pint of Stone and Wood. Happy Days!!

 

Yep, Mooloolaba and Sunshine Beach surf clubs great too.

Yep, spoilt for choice in Hastings street!!
I like the casual atmosphere of the club for lunch, dinner is a bit different though!

 

Yes they were, my steak was great too, and your fish looked very nice!
I think most pubs serve pretty good food these days and Surf Clubs, well I can't pick the difference quality wise.
Fine dining it aint, but for a nice and good sized meal served up to your table with a few cold ones I'll keep going back!!

I like the people watching ..on Hastings st.

We have a long association with the area going back to the 1900s and then from the late 40s ..

Hastings st 1952...you can see the old surf club and the caravan park at the end ..

The Noosa historic society ,have been after this water colour for years .....I've left it to them in my will!

Actually Sunshine Beach surfie is excellent. Coolum is more old school... hit and miss.
