My 7 years of Dealer Service for my '14 Cal 30 has expired, and I have no desire to drive 1+hrs over bridges to go to either Dealer. I'm in Danville and looking for a reliable service provider for annual service that is a bit closer. Thanks in advance, Randy...

They are probably an hour away from you but I have had excellent luck with Jesse Westlake and his crew at SF Motorsports in San Rafael.

Hello Gentlemen! Centerfireman, thanks for the recommendation. I am also looking for service for my 1987 328 GTS, however, I live in the Sacramento, CA area. Would like to get your thoughts on reliable service in this area or if SF Motorsports is the closest service provider. Thanks in advance!

Ben Salerno in Rocklin. You are lucky to be close. I have been in Ferrari business over 40 years and he is one of the very best on West Coast.

Brian certainly knows better than I do but I would agree with using Ben at Salerno. I have used them for my 550 and been very happy. However, they have quite a lead time to get in (I have been been waiting 4+ months to get mine in for a major). I would rather wait and get excellent service than get my car into a less skilled shop on shorter notice. Hope that helps.

I don't know a good shop that does not have a 4 month or so backlog.

Patrick Ottis in Berkeley has been servicing my 330 GTC for years. A couple years ago his team started working on more modern cars and will be taking care of my 2010 California GT after I have the final airbag recall done at the dealer. I too hate driving the hour each way to the dealers.

Just to follow up, I took my Cali to Prestige Autohaus in Walnut Creek. Torsten (owner) was easy to work with and able to schedule me in timely manner. He has the required computer to update modern Ferraris. He seemed very knowledgeable and his pricing was very fair. And he is only 15 minutes away from house!

John Heim who was the master tech at Ferrari SF is at Patrick Ottis in Berkeley and looks at the newer cars.
