Hi guys does anyone know the part # for the code above? It’s a coolant temperature sensor in the bank 1-4 on my 1995 F355. 2.7

It is a blue sensor, Ferrari part# 125769.
    OEM is a BOSCH 0 280 130 026.
A Motronic 2.7 F355 has two, one for each cylinder bank.

This sensor is easy and cheap to come by. Different other manufacturers for sensors with the same spec help to keep the costs for it down (Maxgear, Beru, ...).
Here in Germany the compatible Maxgear 21-0124 can be bought for EUR 3,15 incl. VAT that equals USD 3,57. 1112 turns out to be a quite cheap errorcode.

Thanks for the help guys! So my car is out of the engine out service, out of the shop, and this code comes on and off. I never had this code before, only after the service it started coming on.
Trying to get the shop replace one but they are trying to charge me saying the code was there before the car was in the shop.

This is an easy fix. Nothing has to come apart. Drain some coolant from the radiators. Disconnect the wire to the sensor. Replace the sensor. Reconnect the wire. Fill with antifreeze. Shouldn't take more than an hour and the part is under $50 plus coolant.

But if it's going on and off it may be just a bad connection or broken connector.

That one highlighted in red is the sensor that throws 1112 code? For some reason I thought it was the yellow highlighted one in the pic. Ian do you have 5.2? what's the difference between the 2.7 and 5.2 sensors location?

2.7 has two coolant temp sensors that feed the two CPU. It also has one coolant temp sensor that feeds the instrument.

5.2 has only 1 coolant temp sensor feeding a single CPU. It also has one coolant temp sensor that feeds the instrument.

Changing that one sensor is fairly easy and if you are quick, you won't lose much coolant.

But you will never get your engine to look as shiny as Qavion's

The yellow circled one is the water temp "transmitter" for the cockpit gauge.

    I wish it were mine :( It's a borrowed photo (probably Elliott's :p )

I think that’s Terry’s engine judging by the painted throttle bodies his posts and restoration threads from years back were a massive motivation for me!

I have changed one of the 2 sensors at the back of the motor once before and if you do it quickly you don’t lose much coolant at all.

    Mine : )

I did notice a lot of wiring harnesses blocking access to my 5.2 sensors. Maybe it’s easier on the 2.7?

I would not advise changing w/o draining some coolant. I did one on my car that way and it was a mess.

hey Elliott, are those fuelrails original or did you some modifications on its? Your car having the connecting ports for an fuel pressure gauge which are mentioned in the wsm. My 2.7 doesn't have those

To this date, after owning two 355 (2.7 and 5.2), and seeing dozen more 355s, I have never figured out why the factory fitted those schreider valves at the fuel rails on some 355s, and then removed them on other 355s.

Hey guys so the Coolant temperature sensor i need to change 125769, is that that’s a genuine ferrari sensor everyone sells? I know they are all made by bosch, so is there any difference or it will work without a problem? Because i heard that the original Ferrari Bosch sensor had 0 280 130 026 (103) at the end.

Yes it definitely can make a mess but it’s pretty easy to prevent a massive spill with some microfibre towels and fast hands.

They are original. Some models had the check valves on the rails to test fuel pressure.

Where is the sensor that feeds that dash dial on 2.7 348? I believe the two for the ecu are under the intake manifold in that tunnel.

I don't understand why the sensor is mounted at an angle. It's the same for the F355, but that points slightly upwards.

    Hey all

    I'm getting code 1112, Check engine 5-8

I replaced the driver's side engine temp sensor, warmed it up, burped it, drove it, code is still present

What else would this point to?

Are there only two engine temp sensors?

The reading on the dash is accurate, fans are kicking in, etc.
