Yes they are legit. There was a story on them on the news here not so long back. They did pretty well from the very first one they did a few years ago, and it's just gone gangbusters for them since. They raise money for the vets. (soldiers not animal doctors)

I have it on best authority that this car also has a 400a diff in it.
I wonder if they're going to disclose that it was the centre of a legal battle re the supply of the wrong diff....

I'm sure any prospective buyer is going to be pushing poo up an incline that 0-100kph in 6.4 seconds is never going to be attained unless some form of gravity change under the wheels is experienced!

Different (taller) ratio as the 400A has a 3 speed gearbox, vs the 365 with a 5 speed.
The taller diff will help fuel economy though

 

If it was my car, I wouldn't worry about it, unless the difference is immense. What's the RPM difference at 100kph in top gear?

If it didn't matter, the factory would have used the same diff ratio in the auto and manual.

 

Obviously, but just because it's not optimised doesn't mean it's a real problem in the real world.

 

Correct to the extent of pretty much slipping the clutch from standstill.

ratio's:
3.25 auto,4.3 manual.

Correct hence the amazing numbers I quoted when I arrived home.

This is not the sportscar I thought I was buying after 14 years of knowing their performance.
