He did demostration runs more than racing ......... he just glided around Oran Park from where I was on the back part of the course I gotta say, I don't remember him being beaten

I was there for that weekend, went down with a friend that used to race TZ Yamahas at the time, I remember the sound of that MV & his supremely smooth riding style...unbelievable. Funny thing happened on that weekend, I bought a raffle ticket, can't remember what the prize was now, but first & only time ever I've won a lottery or raffle or the like, I go to collect & whatever the prize was didn't suit me so they offered me a full face bike helmet, they said they didn't have one there right then but would sent it to me, never saw the prize, it didn't arrive, moral to the story of the time, don't buy a raffle ticket in another state, when you're leaving to go home that afternoon
