FNR '07 my first ever track day in the red car @ Wakefield Park. I came first in the FEV12OHOS category. Andy Fraser was there in his 400iA. I overtook him as though he wasn't on the track and Andy has a huge amount more experience.
Correct, would be the best out come. Down the track the second gearbox (whichever one) will get whatever it needs to be entire and sold. The spare diff likewise.
If I were Simon I would only accept that it is put back to as advertised Rob..If that costs 15K for a new crown wheel and pinion then it has to be Bourne by the Dealer whom misrepresented the car if they had knowledge this work was done but did not pass it onto the buyer…
There is our answer why it would have been a slug.....1st gear would have been soooooooooooo long and slow getting to the high rev change and 2nd gear warp speed be interesting to get the the MPH/KPH per 1,000 for the 3.25 ratio and see what speeds the car Simon has would pull through the gears ...top gear would be shocking be like a slipping clutch ...Go get 'em Simon and your are spot on with your comment that ITS NOT a 365..
I would think the dealers CEOs in Melbourne would just say fix it and make it go away so we have a happy Ferrari community owner .. There would be enough meat in the deal and the car it was traded in on to do that and save face ..
Hopefully that’s done Rob..I couldn’t live with a 400 diff in a 365…Greg hit the nail on the goat..You would always know you had a stories diff…
Shakes head. So it seems I'm the only one who has done a comparison between two identical cars apart from the final ratio, but I'm the one who's wrong? OLIO Ok ADS at its finest.
I know JM..I’ve got about 5 hours of threads to catch up on! They have locked me in a hotel room and thrown away the key for 2 days in Hongkong..Can’t wait to get back to LA on Saturday…
I’ll come home when the 355 is in the garage…Can’t afford to come home before that! Heads done , new valves and seats..10% there…
