Actually, my brother in law and I each bought a 450 SLC around the same time in the early 90s. Mine was Aussie Delivered, his South Africa delivery. His car was always incredibly quick off the line and we could never work out why until we had them at the same mechanic and up on a hoist. The diff was a different ratio.

So there you go, it was basically a double blinded randomised controlled trial . So nyer

That’s what I thought too, but we eliminated any inter observer variability by getting the mechanic to have a go
