    Indeed,

and now, it is starting to looking the "dreaded" Euro 7 emissions rules will never happen and only a tweaking of Euro 6 rules...

I think the pandemic has thrown a wrench into everything. The powers that be in Europe may be realizing Euro-7 may kill what automobile manufacturing they have left.

As per the Ferrari Corporate 2021 Results Presentation, - "order books stronger than ever, covering well into 2023 (bottom of Page 8). Not sure how Marcel gets 27,000 from this? Maybe 18,000 for the next year and a half? 27,000 would take us well into 2024 ? At current production levels.

Marcel is closer to the factory and is likely aware of details not publicized by corporate presentations...

Definitely agree and most govt officials are idiots and try to be relevant by mandating stupid new laws/policies/rules that tend to antagonize the old technology and want to accelerate the newer and "greener" tech but not doing extensive research about it. As if EVs carbon footprint is cleaner compared to conventional ICE powered vehicles.

    Hahahahaha, told you so!

Next in line will be the UK government especially post Brexit. The size of the car industry in UK is material and UK is in no position to take a financial and political hit of this magnitude (irrespective of whichever party is ruling).

Blanket bans are stupid and a supposed "quick fix" - They have unintended consequences. I hope the industry fights these bans with appropriate technology otherwise we will all be driving boring EV's - and that's a sad situation to contemplate.

Agreed! Really never made sense to me that the ICE magic that give them billions in exports/revenue they would so easily toss away. Now everyone seems to be coming to good senses... I still believe electrification of the car world is decades away and should happen via competitive forces versus political policies. So many countries out there seriously lack the infrastructure to power them..

was it really a test-bed for the daytona sp3? previously some spotters stated that, this 488 is a mule for next gen v12. or actually there is no such thing as ''next gen v12''

looks like mule was from November 2020?

    at 5m45s:

And probably was test for SP3, the engine in the SP3 is the same as the 812C

they fired Leiters, I doubt there is much new V12 engine work in-progress and based on the 'EV future' any update to the V12 would seem to only be inclusion of a hybrid drive probably limited to an electric motor at the flywheel (for any possible 812 successor)

I would advise against jumping the gun. Leiter's sacking doesn't mean that Ferrari isn't intereste in the V12 anymore. Fchat is such a drama-queen forum...

Mickyd329 you are correct, no future allocations unless you dress the part.

some people at ferrari might not know the difference between ferrari and alphatauri(no hate on the team I actually like them more compared to red bull) as both has scuderia(aka team) in their f1 guise lol
