A concept done by an Art Center student. I wish the Purosangue was more experimental and differentiated like this design. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Erm … that really isn’t very experimental or differentiated. It’s very … meh … and the proportions are kind of stumpy and tadpole or frog like. I don’t think this is better than the real Purosangue in any respect. Ingenere’s black glass canopy concept version WOULD have been just the ticket to make the Purosangue an avant-garde breakthrough design and truly lust worthy while being completely on brand. But alas …
Take a look at this render! There is still people who think that the headlights are placed high, to fill the higher air intake! NOOOOOO! Headlights are placed low! LOW! I really don't understand. We have the real car spotted into the factory Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree that they should have tried something more aggressive and sporty/raw to distinguish themselves from the rest. This looks not bad but basically just another SUV.
The motor1 rendering that MDEL posted is probably essentially what it’s going to be. If it looks like that, it will sell well. The back haunches look properly muscular and on brand. It has a powerful stance and looks ready to pounce. This is a good design. Very good even. Certainly good enough to buy. I understand why they took this, in my opinion, conservative direction with the design but I too would have liked to have seen them push the envelope more and I agree that this is a well designed SUV and perhaps even the best designed SUV but it it still an SUV not a breakthrough which moves the bar as some ferrari designs have been in the past. In that respect it’s a bit anticlimactic.
It’s looking more like a blown up Lusso. They scrunched it up and increased the height. Not a fan of the back vs the Lusso though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Could you please rephrase? I don't undestand what you mean. O use a single image to show where headlights or intakes are or are not. Apart from the DRL which seems obvious there are three possible slots for headlights/intakes. Do you mean the SF90 headlight shaped slots are air intakes and not headlights?
Why in Gstaad? And why first in December? The car will be presenting in June to the cavalcade customers and for the public in September
Gstaad makes sense as a location, posh ski resorts where Ferraristas would likely go skiing and have chalets, and where the Purosangue could demonstrate its capabilities not as a full on off roader but as a luxury grand tourer for all weather performance and all circumstance (ex.skiing with the family) practicality. Similar to what was done by Jeremy Clarkson on TopGear when testing the FF Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
September is correct. December in Gstaad and/or St. Moritz, Switzerland, for Swiss based clients. Marcel Massini
I noticed that too…maybe a nod to the 288 Gto? I know the main lights in that car were pop up but it had significant lights below the bumper line. Maybe the uppers are driving lights/high beams.
This is a very recent proposal of a Purosangue with a breadvan design. Although the rear shape of the black mule could indicate that it was hiding a bredvan shape after the leaked photos we already know that it is not so. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This photo was published today and is of one of the Purosangue mules on the Fiorano circuit. This could indicate that the development of the Purosangue is not yet complete. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for the clarification. The red car render is quite misleading with proportions totally off, your Mazda comment makes a lot of sense. Purosangue is going to be a proper SUV as confirmed by @day355 and not a Lusso+.
Let just hope there is false info in the images or changes from those images. I like the rear look but the front 3/4 view just doesn't seat right to me and those carbon/black arches around the wheel arches look like some budget aftermarket ricer part
