“Haas F1 Team has elected to terminate, with immediate effect, the title partnership of Uralkali, and the driver contract of Nikita Mazepin,” said a statement from the team.”
“As with the rest of the Formula 1 community, the team is shocked and saddened by the invasion of Ukraine and wishes for a swift and peaceful end to the conflict.”

Hmmm,, Fittipaldi No. 4 in F1, is that a record of sorts for a family ?

 

yes that would be a record ..a few other have 3 .

Then there is also lil Enzo F coming up through the ranks if F2 this year.

 

No. 4 but he’s a bit no. 2 unfortunately. Not much of an improvement. Looks to be a waste of a seat with him, I think.

He’s already done 2 races replacing Grosjean but doesn’t really bring the team much except maybe money.

 

This kid hasn't tweeted or instagramed or facebooked the actions of his country and denounced what his country is doing to Ukraine.

He is completely oblivious of the optics that he and his sponsor Uralkali DON'T DO or say against what Russia is doing.

10 days since the invasion and this is all he can say. Uralkali has'nt said anything. (someone prove me wrong)

Yep. Nikita especially is in an odd situation given his dad's business is very much connected to Putin. i.e. speak out against Putin and see license to export revoked, for example (and instantly, the business dies).

Given his own circumstances it's about as much as he can say and get away with.

Nikita was never going to be the a real force to be reckoned with in F1. I did find him to be a nice guy in interviews, really knowledgeable.

 

I don't believe he will take the seat... Haas is need of money and Fittipaldi doesn't have it.

He was probably the worst F1 driver of the century so far. Even worse than Stroll. He lacked any kind of driving talent. Yes, he brought money to a cash strapped US team, but he also brought scandal (remember the famous incident with an unfortunate young lady in his car). He was a joke in F1 and an embarrassment to the sport. The fact that he believes he even has any fans just proves how deluded he is. Good bye Mr Hopeless Spin. I hope to never hear of you again.

I think each team has to figure out their deal with a sponsor if it operates out of Russia. Who knows if there are any kind of issues with getting payments due to locked bank accounts, who knows how "Russian" the sponsor even is (might be formed in Russia, but have hubs globally). The team and the sponsor both have rights to break the partnership if either can hurt their brand.

Come on man, let's not come up with lies. The girl was a "Instagram model" that he flew in to Dubai to meet him. And in the video you can clearly see that not only she was enjoying, but also she similated some "acts" as part of the fun.
